Jordan McCall

A dedicated and compassionate care professional with over a decade of experience across the aged care and disability support sectors. Originally from New Zealand, I relocated to Australia in 2024 alongside my husband, to bring my passion for supporting others to a new community.

My career is built on a strong foundation of 10 years in aged care, where I developed deep expertise in person-centered support, advocacy, and delivering high-quality care to vulnerable individuals. In July 2025, I joined Indigo Rose as a Disability Support Worker, quickly establishing strong relationships with clients and demonstrating a commitment to empowering their independence.

Recognising my leadership potential and organisational strengths, I transitioned into the role of Service Coordinator for Indigo Rose in April 2026.

In my current role, I combine my extensive hands-on care experience with strong coordination skills to ensure seamless service delivery, efficient scheduling, and the highest standards of support for our participants and team.

Elwood Bird

Hi, my name is Elwood, and I work remotely from Melbourne as a Service Coordinator with Indigo Rose. My passion for the disability sector is rooted in both my personal and professional experience. Growing up alongside my younger sister, who has a disability, gave me valuable insight into the importance of genuine, person-centred support and the positive impact it can have on individuals and their families.

Over the past two and a half years, I have built on this lived experience through my work in the disability sector, developing a strong understanding of participant needs, service coordination, and the importance of fostering meaningful outcomes. I am committed to ensuring that every participant receives the support they need in a way that respects their goals, preferences, and independence.

I strongly align with Indigo Rose's vision of delivering a truly person-centred experience and take pride in advocating for participants while working collaboratively with colleagues, providers, and families to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Outside of work, I enjoy building genuine connections with both participants and colleagues through shared interests. Whether it's discussing sport, pop culture, music, or video games, I believe these conversations help foster trust, strengthen relationships, and create positive, engaging experiences for everyone involved.
