Flynn Benfield is the Service Manager at Indigo Rose, based in Lismore. With a career journey that spans frontline work, team leadership, and operational management, Flynn brings a grounded, straight-talking approach to leadership. His background includes roles in the plumbing trade, macadamia farm management, nightclub security, high school support units, and NDIS disability support — each adding layers to his ability to lead, connect, and deliver under pressure.
Flynn transitioned into the support sector with a passion for making a real difference in people’s lives. He has since progressed from disability support work to support coordination, and now into leadership — where he combines strategic oversight with firsthand experience. He thrives on building strong teams, streamlining systems, and keeping the mission of empowerment and respect at the heart of the work.
Known for his hands-on style and commitment to doing the work alongside his team, Flynn holds formal qualifications across education support, counselling, security, and the NDIS. His creative side shines through in his love of cooking, landscaping, music, and art — activities that help him stay connected and balanced.
