Melanie Day - Service Coordinator
Melanie Joins Indigo Rose Service's Team; Melanie has a strong connection with our community, enjoys being a local, and strives to ensure our Participants understand what's available in our local community. Melanie was born and bred in our community and knows first-hand how important our local community is for our participants to remain connected and get the most out of the services in our region.
Melanie has studied Certificate 3 in Disability and Individual Support, Supporting Substance Abuse, and Mental Health. Melanie knows how important it is for our participants to have choice and control and receive genuine Person-centred services in line with Indigo Rose values.
Melanie takes pride in ensuring our participants and Support Workers have a voice and are matched with their abilities and Clients with their experience, interests, and genuine connections.
In Her spare time, Melanie enjoys spending time outdoors, camping and enjoying time with her family.
Mellisa Dawson-Service Coordinator
Mellisa Joins Indigo Rose with over 20 years of Industry Experience; Melissa knows first hand how imperative it is for our participants to have their voice in their chosen service design. Mellisa is also passionate about person-centered service, which comes naturally to her. When it comes to Client service, there isn't much Mellisa has not been a part of; being an experienced support worker, key worker, and house leader, to name a few, Mellisa is values-led to ensure we support each participant on their journey. Melissa Also wants to be a leader. She would like to engage with and support our team daily to support them through professional and holistic approaches.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, exploring her farm, and participating in various regional show societies in our region.
All paid and unpaid staff, including volunteers, interns or trainees of Indigo Rose Disability Support Services are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of children and young people who engage with Indigo Rose Disability Support Services. All paid and unpaid staff are expected to act in accordance with this Code of Conduct in their physical and online interactions with children and young people under the age of 18 years.
